Los Angeles Rams vs Denver Broncos Final Score

The final score was Denver Broncos 30, Los Angeles Rams 26. Los Angeles led 7–0 after the opening quarter and extended that advantage to 16–0 by halftime. The Broncos finally got on the scoreboard in the third quarter, scoring two touchdowns and converting both two-point attempts to level the game at 16–16.

Denver continued the comeback in the fourth quarter. After Mevis gave Los Angeles a 19–16 lead, Talanoa Hufanga returned a Stafford interception 66 yards for a touchdown. Stafford answered with a 48-yard touchdown pass to Konata Mumpfield, but Nix’s late one-yard rushing score put Denver ahead 30–26. Stafford’s final pass was intercepted in the end zone as the game ended.

Matthew Stafford Leads the Rams Passing Attack

Matthew Stafford delivered a high-volume passing performance, completing 30 of 55 attempts for 390 yards and two touchdowns. He also threw two interceptions. Stafford repeatedly moved the Rams downfield, especially during the first half and late in the fourth quarter, but his two interceptions became important turning points in the Denver comeback.

Stafford’s best touchdown connection came late in the fourth quarter when he found Konata Mumpfield for a 48-yard score. That play restored the Rams’ lead to 26–23 with 3:38 remaining. However, Stafford was intercepted in the end zone with two seconds left, ending Los Angeles’ final attempt to regain possession and complete the victory.

Davante Adams Produces 137 Receiving Yards

Davante Adams was the Rams’ leading receiver, finishing with seven receptions for 137 yards. His longest catch covered 49 yards, and he was targeted 13 times. Adams provided Stafford with a consistent downfield option throughout the game and helped Los Angeles produce more offensive yardage than Denver.

Konata Mumpfield also delivered a major performance for the Rams. He caught four passes for 93 yards and one touchdown, including the 48-yard score that briefly put Los Angeles back in front during the final minutes. Tyler Higbee added eight receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown, giving Stafford several productive targets.

Kyren Williams Adds 158 Scrimmage Yards

Kyren Williams led the Rams’ rushing attack with 15 carries for 88 yards and also caught six passes for 70 yards. His 158 total yards from scrimmage made him one of Los Angeles’ most productive all-around offensive players. His longest rushing play covered 30 yards, while his receiving work helped Stafford sustain several drives.

The Rams’ running game was not as dominant as their passing attack, but Williams still provided explosive plays. Los Angeles finished with a large amount of total offense and held possession for more than 34 minutes. Despite that production, the Rams could not convert their overall yardage advantage into enough points after halftime.

Bo Nix Leads Denver’s Comeback

Bo Nix completed 17 of 34 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns, while throwing one interception. He also rushed four times for seven yards and scored the game-winning touchdown. His passing numbers were modest compared with Stafford’s, but Nix made several important plays after halftime as Denver erased the 16-point deficit.

Nix’s first touchdown pass went to Pat Bryant for five yards, with Denver successfully using a two-point conversion afterward. He later connected with Nate Adkins for an eight-yard touchdown, again followed by a successful two-point conversion. Those two drives brought Denver level before the fourth-quarter scoring decided the game.

Talanoa Hufanga Changes the Game

Talanoa Hufanga played one of the most decisive defensive roles for Denver. He intercepted Stafford twice, including a 66-yard interception return touchdown in the fourth quarter. The pick-six moved the Broncos from a 19–16 deficit into a 23–19 lead and immediately changed the momentum of the game.

Hufanga also made the final defensive play of the contest. With Los Angeles driving for a potential winning score, Stafford threw toward the end zone with two seconds remaining. Hufanga intercepted the pass in the end zone, securing the Broncos’ 30–26 victory and preventing the Rams from getting another scoring opportunity.

Denver Broncos Receiving Leaders

Courtland Sutton led Denver in receiving yardage with three receptions for 46 yards. Pat Bryant caught two passes for 44 yards and one touchdown, including the opening score of Denver’s second-half comeback. Nate Adkins added the Broncos’ second receiving touchdown on an eight-yard reception from Nix.

RJ Harvey contributed six receptions for 41 yards, while Jaylen Waddle recorded two catches for 10 yards and also rushed once for 14 yards. Denver did not produce the same passing volume as Los Angeles, but its offense became much more efficient after halftime and scored enough points to overcome the large early deficit.

Broncos Erase a 16-Point Deficit

Denver’s comeback began immediately after halftime. The Broncos had been held scoreless during the first two quarters, but Nix connected with Pat Bryant for a touchdown early in the third quarter. Denver then completed a successful two-point conversion, cutting the deficit from 16 points to eight.

The Broncos tied the game later in the same quarter. Nix found Nate Adkins for an eight-yard touchdown, and another successful two-point conversion made the score 16–16. The comeback continued into the fourth quarter, where the two teams exchanged the lead before Denver produced the final decisive touchdown.

Harrison Mevis Keeps Rams Ahead Early

Rams kicker Harrison Mevis was responsible for much of Los Angeles’ first-half scoring. After Stafford’s touchdown pass to Tyler Higbee opened the game, Mevis converted field goals from 36, 35 and 40 yards during the second quarter. Those kicks helped the Rams establish a 16–0 halftime advantage.

Mevis added another 48-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, giving Los Angeles a 19–16 advantage with 8:40 remaining. His four successful field goals kept the Rams in front while Denver’s defense searched for a way to create a decisive play. Hufanga’s interception return touchdown came shortly afterward and shifted the game again.

Team Statistics Show Rams Had More Offensive Production

The Rams generated substantially more offensive yardage than Denver. Los Angeles finished with 482 total yards in the game, including 390 passing yards, while Denver produced 257 total yards in the available game statistics. The Rams also held possession for 34:29 compared with Denver’s 25:31.

Despite that offensive advantage, turnovers proved costly. Los Angeles committed two turnovers, both interceptions, while Denver had one turnover. The Rams also committed 13 penalties for 91 yards, compared with five Denver penalties for 38 yards. The difference in turnovers and key defensive plays helped Denver overcome the yardage deficit.

Fourth Quarter Decides the Game

The fourth quarter produced the game’s most important sequence. Los Angeles initially extended its lead with Mevis’ 48-yard field goal, but Hufanga’s pick-six gave Denver a 23–19 advantage. Stafford then responded with his 48-yard touchdown pass to Mumpfield, putting the Rams back ahead 26–23 with 3:38 remaining.

Denver’s final offensive possession produced the decisive play. Nix scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown with only 47 seconds left, putting Denver ahead 30–26. Stafford moved the Rams deep into Broncos territory on the final drive, but Hufanga intercepted his end-zone pass with two seconds remaining to preserve Denver’s victory.

Los Angeles Rams vs Denver Broncos Match Player Stats Summary

The Los Angeles Rams vs Denver Broncos Match Player Stats show a game where individual offensive production favored Los Angeles, but Denver’s defense created the decisive moments. Stafford threw for 390 yards and two touchdowns, Adams produced 137 receiving yards, and Williams totaled 158 yards from scrimmage.
